We've got some big news to share. Penrite Oil, one of Australia's most respected automotive names, has become the majority shareholder in BLAHST.

For those who've been with us from the start, you'll know BLAHST began with a simple idea, car washing gear could be done way better. We designed a wall-mounted pressure washer that lived in your garage rather than being dragged out of a shed, and from there the range grew into vacuums, dryer blowers, cleaning products, accessories and modular garage storage. Each product was built around one question: what would actually make detailing easier for people who love their cars?

Why Penrite?
Penrite has been part of Australian motoring since 1926. It's still Australian-owned and family-run, and it's built its reputation on quality, on knowing its customers, and on backing the car community in the workshop, at the track and in the driveway. That's the same ground BLAHST stands on, which is why this partnership felt right from the very first conversation.

"We didn't get here on our own," says co-founder Leigh Bartlett. "Our customers, our retail partners and the wider car community backed us when we were just getting started. Having a business like Penrite recognise what we've built is a proud moment for the whole team."

What changes (and what doesn't)
Andrew and Leigh aren't going anywhere. They'll continue to lead BLAHST day to day, and the products, the team and the customer service you know stay exactly as they are.

What Penrite brings is serious support behind the scenes: a stronger supply chain, more resources to take ideas from sketch to shelf faster, and the room to keep expanding the BLAHST system.

"Penrite understands what we're about: good gear, clever ideas and looking after our customers," says co-founder Andrew Hermes. "This lets us do more of all three."
